Clean & Apply
• Take a hot shower or clean the area with an alcohol swab. Apply a half-inch thick layer of numbing cream, do not rub it into the skin.
Seal
• Cover the area with cling wrap (such as Press'n Seal) to support fast absorption. Leave numbing cream on for 30-45 minutes for tattoos and hair removal, 15-25 minutes for permanent makeup and 10 minutes for injections.
• Covering Zensa Numbing Cream is not always necessary, especially in areas of the skin like the face, lips, and Brazilian area. However, when you do cover Zensa, it is more easily absorbed.
Remove
• Remove wrap and gently dab away (don't wipe) excess cream before beginning the procedure.
Extras
• When applied correctly, Zensa Numbing Cream can provide effective numbing for 2-3 hours.
• If you wish to speed up the numbing there are a few additional tactics to incorporate: Additional exfoliation of the area will allow the cream to penetrate the skin more easily. Applying a thicker layer of Zensa or leaving it on for longer will increase numbing. You can also put a hot wet towel on top of the wrapped area, as the heat and moisture will open the pores up, allowing for better absorption.
